Here’s a lesson that I learned, or should I say relearned, for the 55th time. Oh, I can say what I want, I’m an adult.
I had to:
- clean the house
- go through so many emails
- you get the idea, do stuff.
The thing about overwhelm and having a lot of stuff to do though is that it makes you forget. It makes you forget that every day only has 24 hours, and that’s all everyone gets.
You’re only human, you can’t do it all perfectly, quickly, and mindfully.
All you can do is start.
As Newton came to discover, “Objects in motion tend to stay in motion and resting objects tend to remain at rest unless acted upon by an external force”.
Don’t let the overwhelm get to you, be that force and just start.
The rest is (motion) history.
