I love mornings. I love them. Yesterday I talked about new chances, and I think mornings represent them so well.
Some small great things happened today.
My meditation practice has been off lately. Not today though! I meditated for 13 minutes, which is how long I sit on the good days. I felt great afterward, so happy I didn’t postpone it till’ evening.
Then I had lemon water, which is so easy and so good for us first thing in the morning, it wakes up our digestive systems and cleans out toxins (I got this from Hannah.) Update from future me: please don’t drink lemon water first thing in the morning. Also, our digestive systems don’t need magical potions, and food isn’t toxic.
I cleaned the house, put things in place, found a better place for things already placed. Managing to shower before my salty brownie baked oatmeal was done baking, I watched Friends and got ready for the sunny day ahead.
I went to a lovely Christmas decorations store, where photos were allowed- always a plus. Also, I found great, cheap food.
Point is, my mornings (usually) pay off.
If I invest energy in having a great morning, I usually end up having a great day as well!
Will you try having an awesome morning for me tomorrow? P.S. The title of this post is a Thievery Corporation’s song, which I love!
